Belrose Chiropractic Team

Dr Naomi Conlon - Principal Chiropractor

Dr Naomi Conlon, Belrose ChiropractorFor as long as I can remember I have been fascinated by human physiology, and how our bodies respond to everyday life through exercise, diet and daily stresses. I began my tertiary studies with the plan to do medicine, but in my first year of university I quickly realised my passion lay in understanding how the body achieves optimum health and prevents dysfunction, not how to fix disease once it has manifested.

I met a friend in that first year who introduced me to the world of Chiropractic, and with the help of a very influential Chiropractor (thank you Dr. Kelly!) I fell in love with this discipline.

My greatest passion is learning about and practising good health, and I am lucky enough to be able to share that passion through my work.

Incidentally, my other great loves are my husband Rob, Jack our beautiful family dog, yoga, kayaking, and eating!

Dr Amanda Parke - Chiropractor

Dr Amanda Parke, Belrose ChiropractorHi, my name is Amanda and I am excited to have joined the team here at Belrose Chiropractic. I have grown up with regular visits to the chiropractor and have experienced firsthand just a few of the amazing benefits chiropractic has to offer.

Growing older I became fascinated with the body's natural ability to heal itself and adapt to the everyday stresses of life. This together with an interest in natural health inspired me to study chiropractic at university.

I graduated from Macquarie University after completing a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and Master of Chiropractic. During my training I attended several fieldwork events treating a range of different athletes. These events included the Sydney World Masters Games, Oxfam Trail Walk, Surf Lifesaving events, rugby, soccer and cricket. I have also attended seminars in low-force techniques including Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT), Activator Methods, Thompson Technique and Trigenics.

With a strong desire to help people achieve their goals, I hope to share my knowledge and work with other health professionals to ensure you reach your optimal health.

Helen Stewart - Practice Manager

Helen Stewart, Clinic ManagerI am the smiling face that greets you as you come in the door. I really enjoy my role as Practice Manager as it has enabled me to become involved in the world of Chiropractic and to see first hand the changes it makes to people’s lives, health and general wellbeing.

In addition to ensuring the clinic is running effectively at all times, I especially enjoy my interaction with the patients and am quite often called upon to be a sympathetic shoulder and a holder of babies.

I have a Bachelor of Social Science degree, with a major in Sociology from the University of New England, and although I am considering further study it may interfere with my craving for more travel.

I feel extremely rewarded to be involved in a profession that focuses on helping people to be their best - naturally.

We look forward to helping you achieve optimal health and wellness! Call for an appointment today

Dr. Naomi Asks some important questions of interest to Belrose residents - Chiropractor Belrose Dr. Naomi Asks...

How come medical doctors don't recommend chiropractic?
That's changing. Years of prejudice and bias are giving way to research showing the benefits of chiropractic care. As more and more Belrose folks seek alternatives to drugs and surgery, more and more medical practitioners are referring their patients to chiropractors.
Why are some people allergic to pollen and others aren't?
It's not the pollen. Chiropractors know that if it were, everyone would be allergic to pollen, nuts and pet dander. But that's not the case. It's the person, not the pollen! If you live in Belrose and your stress levels are high, then each year the grass, the trees or the weeds put your nervous system over the top. Many report that chiropractic care helps reduce the frequency and severity of their allergic response.
